Haunted House presents a tour of a virtual haunted house in a first person perspective. The first person character nervously explores the rooms with a flashlight. Throughout the house are props, furniture and imagery reminiscent of Scooby Doo and The Addam's Family cartoons, which are both based on tropes and motifs of gothic horror. I wanted to explore our cultural obsession with Horror, an element present in many different cultures' storytelling, and the paradox of enjoying the negative emotional response that the genre seeks to induce.
